MyMotherHustle Story - Pamela Rosario
“Do what you love regardless of the circumstances.” Here’s Pamela Rosario’s #MyMotherHustle Story.

When and how did you begin your business? Give us the backstory!

I was working a part-time seasonal job and I kept hearing the girls mention blogging and all the fun things it brings. Since I always wanted to write, I thought this would be an awesome way to start. So I launched my first website,

Tell us a little about your family.

My husband and I have been married for three years. We have two beautiful daughters—Aylah (18mon) and Amelia (4yrs). We currently live in CT. Amelia loves to dance and play with her friends. She’s very active and smart. She loves meeting people. She’s very affectionate and sweet. Aylah is the opposite of her sister. She’s the feisty, fearless one. She throws tons of temper tantrums. She loves playing with her sister. She is very protective and outgoing.

What were the biggest challenges you’ve faced or lessons you’ve learned since starting your business?

The biggest challenge I face right now is time management. I have a 9–5 that I don’t like, but it pays the bills. Now that I have started doing something I love, it’s a waste of my time. With my family and my job, it only allows me two hours a night to work on my blogging.

How does motherhood affect or influence your business? Your creativity?

I usually incorporate my daughters in my blog with mommy-and-me photos. But it can be a challenge trying to write or complete a project or attend events. I feel guilty for not being there with them physically and mentally. I fear them resenting me later.

What advice would you give to a brand-new creative entrepreneur?

Do what you love regardless of the circumstances. You will find ways to make it work. Stop making excuses.

What advice would you give to a brand-new mom?

Having children is life-changing; however, keep in mind that the good does outweigh the bad. Don’t be afraid to ask for help, and make sure to rest when you can!
